Two dreadnaughts of the higher-key improvised rock scene deliver side-long wormholes through consciousness, hurtling into territories only rarely visited by rock musicians. Visions of antiquity are hurled through hyperspace gateways as these cosmonaut collectives compete over who can damage the most neurotransmitters - theirs and yours.

SubArachnoid Space contributes side A. "Tigris" springs from a free-form base of feedback, bass rumble and cascading percussion into a flowing river of many currents and gathering form and weight. It's divided into a number of distinct sections - tributaries building the whole and arriving at a groove that suggests Can and a sense of abandonment that recalls Ash Ra Tempel.

Bardo Pond contributes Side B. "Euphrates" establishes a collective groove in prototypical Bardo Pond fashion. Despite its title, the evocation here is of a river of lava approaching a sleeping village. Its sense of primal urgency and planet-shaping forces suggest geography in the process of being finalized for use by sentient life. At very low volumes, pleasing alpha waves are created. At very high volumes some may desire to listen from over the horizon. In the middle it's a trip through a sunken city.

This LP comes pressed on delicious Czech Republic vinyl, with full-colour meditational sleeve art on high quality cardstock, and insert with exclusive drawing by Bardo Pond's Clint Takeda. It is limited to 500 copies in this incarnation.
